tiktok shadowban, how to remove?

promote wont fix this imo. id test one video thats 100% original, no borrowed nba/player clips, no old sounds, no reposted footage. if that still gets 0 views then its account-level, if it gets pushed then your old content probably got content-matched.

0 views is usually a bigger red flag than low views. I'd first check for account/video restrictions instead of assuming it's a shadowban. Promote might increase paid views, but in my experience it doesn't magically restore organic reach. Try changing the creative, captions, and posting pattern for a few days before spending money. Sometimes a fresh test video tells you more than a promoted one.
i checked for restrictions, account status, and nothing found, everything's normal, i even opened a ticket to tiktok support and they asked me to provide the link from a video having that issue, after analyzing it they said they found restrictions in that video and i could appeal in order to solve that, that's done through the "system's notifications" tab, but i checked there and there's nothing, not a single notification about restrictions, do you know if there's other way to check for restrictions?

Hi folks! has anyone experienced shadowban on tiktok here? i started posting a month ago, did a warm up of the account for a couple weeks, my first video got 50k views idk how, and then i kept posting and some went kinda viral (50k views or less), but most of the videos stayed in the range of 1k-8k views, i thought it was going well but all of a sudden the new videos i post get 0 VIEWS, after a couple days they get like 2 to 3 views lmao, its strange because the video before that 0 views pattern got 40k views, and after that one i kept posting the same kind of content, the same tags, music, sounds, memes, but now its 0 views, do you know what happened or how could i remove that shadowban?

i was wondering if using tiktok promote could help, i mean its not free, maybe spending a couple dollars per day to get views could get me back on track? is that what tiktok wants? have any of you bring your accounts back to life with tiktok promote?
I've seen this happen to a few accounts- that exact pattern too: one video randomly pops off, then bam, 0-3 views out of nowhere. it's almost always some kind of shadowban even tho tiktok will never admit that word exists officially

honestly, the fact that you kept everything the SAME (same sounds, same tags, same format) after the crash might actually be working against you rn. to the algorithm that can look kinda spammy/automated instead of organic, even tho ur intention was just "keep doing what worked"

few things I'd check first:

  • go into settings > account > see if there's a guideline violation sitting on any of your recent vids, sometimes one flagged video tanks the whole account's trust score without you noticing
  • did anything happen right before that 40k video crashed things? that vid might've been the trigger even tho the drop showed up after
  • have you been posting a LOT in a short time? like multiple a day? that alone can get you flagged

what I'd actually do: stop posting for like 2-3 days, let it breathe, then come back with something noticeably different — new sound, new hook, don't just copy paste the formula that used to work

It's not recommended to throw your money away rn tbh. It's not gonna undo a shadowban; if anything, ppl say it makes it worse bc you're forcing paid reach into an account the algo already doesn't trust.

I contacted support, sent one of my videos link for them to check and they say it's flagged, but can't appeal since that it's done through the notification center but didn't receive any notification about it, idk if I should simply delete that video and all of those with the same issue?

And no I was never doing some spammy behavior, I never posted more than twice a day, wasn't even posting daily, maybe 5 videos a week, and I mean I wasn't even using the exact same sounds or hooks, not even the same hashtags, I was rotating between hashtags within the same niche ofc, i paused for 3-4 days, posted again and it's still the same, maybe i'll just wait a whole month now lol

I wouldn’t jump to Promote just yet. Going from 40k to 0 views usually points to a distribution or account issue, not a lack of ad spend. Check if your recent videos are marked ineligible for the For You feed, look for any copyright or policy flags, and try posting a fresh video after a short break. Plenty of accounts recover without paying.
if the videos are marked as ineligible for the For You feed, should i just delete them? its been more than a week ago and they barely got 2 views or so

Have you check your content?any sensitive information? Usually, if a video has been stuck at 0 views for over a month, there's no harm in just deleting it. You might as well delete it, tweak the sensitive parts and upload again.

Also, don't waste your money on tiktok promte. It won't help your situation at all. It might bring in some artificial bot-like views, but it won't actually attract your real target audience once the algorithm flags your content. So save your budget...
