Tiktok Search Traffic SEO, Keywords

I’m looking for advice on how to consistently get search traffic on TikTok.

I run a TikTok page that reposts girl content but I edit everything to make it original. I started about a week ago and I’m already close to 400 followers. Most of my posts sit around 1k–6k views, but I recently had one hit 26k views, with 92.9% of the traffic coming from search.

I’m trying to figure out how to keep that momentum and consistently pull search-based traffic.

If anyone has experience with TikTok SEO, keyword targeting, or specific tag strategies, I’d appreciate any advice.

Use the exact phrase people would search in your caption and on screen text, keep everything consistent, dont spam tags. One or two precise keywords beat a whole list.
Videos that are easy to classify get indexed fast.

TT algo picks up on both captions and what is said in the video so try mentioning your main keywords early in the clip. Keep captions short but precise since TikTok’s search system scans those closely. Use 3/5 hashtags instead of overloading them.

Yeah i try to do this by using phrases like “Forbidden Pants” “Trend Names” but how would i find new keywords that would go viral?

I get the precise captions but why 3/5 hashtags then 5 that can get a wide range but still high quality tags?

To maintain search traffic on TikTok:

Use the correct keywords in your videos and include the main keyword in the caption.

Use two relevant hashtags and one broad hashtag (don't spam).

Thumbnails should have relevant text.

Maintain a stable niche so the algorithm understands what you're talking about.

Doing this consistently for a week will show an increase in search volume.

let chatgpt know the type of content you post, who you are trying to target and ask it for long tail keywords for captions and hooks.
