I’m curious.

If I download n upload someone else video on tiktok,
will I get banned?

Thread moved.

Curious about this too have you tried re-uploading videos from other sources? I saw an account that was doing this think they were getting videos from youtube or old vines.

Theoretically speaking you are violating the terms of service, so yes you risk to get banned, but it's not that easy.

It does work but, it's just a matter of time when you get banned, after they find out your videos aren't original and, your own.

It's true brother.. u may not get caught for few days..but chances are there

Mostly there is not much risk if you don't get reports from owners.
I am uploading lots of videos from other sources so nothing ever happened to my account until now.

Doesn't mean it won't happen later, when your account becomes bigger and more successful.

If people know the original source, they may report you or contact the owner and original uploader.

It's a real gamble and you could lose everything, just like that.

What I would do is save the video from another app (so they don't have "similarity % data" like YouTube/etc.)

Then after its saved, upload in an editing app. Either watermark + save, or just save.

& As long as you're the first person to repost this content on tik tok it should be fine, I've had a good viral experience doing it

There are lots of account I have seen posting other videos and they already have millions of followers. Getting copyright or reports might not happen for all niches. In pets/animals niche I have seen so many big accounts growing everyday without reports.

I have lost 1.5 M followers accounts in Instagram though I have given credits in every post. So its always gamble everywhere.

It'll also depend on videos you re-upload. The more popular the video/creator is, the better chance that it will be reported.

if you have only one account this may be a problem, but if you have multiple then some will stick

As long as you give credits, you should be fine. The problem that I am afraid is that tiktok will not really push the video to make it viral.

If I reupload tiktok videos? with the tiktok watermark, will I get banned?
