TikTok location changed after a iOS update back to original.

I didn't have this problem so far.
Did you try it with another Apple ID created from the USA? If not: reset, use the new Apple ID, turn off WiFi, download TikTok again.

Tried making a new account after full factory reset. For the first 20-30 minutes everything was fine. Had US TikToks showing on my fyp, TT Shop was there too as well as the US Playlist for sounds.
After I closed the app and opened it again it changed. Got the german playlist for sounds, no shop ... lol never had this before.

did u find a solution? im using usa sim card too, everything was fine for me, then recently found out that tiktok shop disappeared but i didnt mind it, today tried creating a new account and it was my countries region for some reason hence cant apply for monetisation. Also ios on my phone is same as it used to be, i blocked updates so i dont think the problem is in update... Maybe tiktok did something and now they detect sim method?
not yet bro still looking for a solution. I thought maybe my sim was the problem because I used it for over 1 year now and had multiple accounts on it.. don't know. Factory reset didnt help so yeah. It all started for me after the iOS update I made

my sim says "activate until october 2024" so idk
I never activated my sim because it's not necessary as far as I know and it always worked fine. Videos getting 50-100K views (US audience) and stuff. Don't know why this happened. Talked to a friend from greece he has the same issue and he just started with tiktok 2 days ago.
