Ecommerce opportunities are currently huge on TIkTok, underutilised platform for any kind of advertising. As the other fellows in the thread said, I support the idea of advertising youthful products, the so-called "trendy" stuff that you'd find. No need to reinvent the wheel, find an untrademarked/patented product and go with that.

You could run a census for that type of stuff. If you're not up for it, just go the the most trending pages of what's in the market. Check demographics, do a little digging on what's popular that might just remain popular for a while, I'm sure you'll have enough open-access data to build a reasonable conclusion. If I had to say, streaming and gaming accessories, peripherals, or devices, on the top of my head.

You can sell something like toys, or you can sell game tokens like UC on Pubg, or Diamond on ML. Other products that you can consider may be hoodie/sweater/cap, something stylish for youngsters?

As you have mentioned, most users are youngsters looking for entertaining video content. So it won’t be appropriate if you, say, run a law firm that provides services to hedge funds or something. You should choose a product with a target audience under 30. Keep in mind that the platform’s international reach rate is superb. Also, in some Asian and Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia and Vietnam, TikTok has more than 50% reach. So these are also great markets that work well with TikTok ads.

I think a lot of you post things before even checking them out. Tiktok literally has a section in the advertising backend called the creative center. It shows the top performing ads from every niche category and their trending hashtags. It even states they are the highest converting ads. Lazy doesn't make money my friends.
