so let say if you have 100k account, 5% (as an optimist assumption) of your follower click the IG/YT link, then it would be 5k, among the 5k only 250 (another 5% assumption) people will click the link you put on IG, very ineffective in my opinion.

Well, 5k click on on yt link is too much - as you can't reach 100k people if you 100k followers(those days are gone).

You can try and send your traffic to an instagram with an instagram link in the bio and then promote your affiliate there. I have had a little success with this method.

I don't know if it can be called "shadow ban", I believe this is more about the fact that the popularity of a video is quite random on TikTok. A video can make thousands of views and the next one just a dozen and it's just because of many criterias and viral potential of the content + how it performs in the first seconds after posting.
