Starting December 4, 2025, TikTok will gradually update the Creator Rewards Program.
The main changes:

• The displayed RPM will now include the standard reward + the additional reward.
• Eligible views will also include those from searches lasting at least 30 seconds.
• Only views from countries where the program is available will be counted: USA, Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, Germany, UK, and France.
• Historical data will be adjusted, but payments already received will not change.

The inclusion of 30-second search views as eligible is a major positive update, as it rewards creators for content discoverability and evergreen value, not just feed scrolling. The new combined RPM display should also provide clearer financial metrics for planning. Since only views from the listed countries count, creators need to strategize on targeting those specific, high-value audiences for maximum benefit.
