Tiktok was such a shit app anyways, wait for a new one to come out and i am sure there is gonna be alot of competition so it wont only be one app now and they will all be hopefully different.

The Chinese laws makes the chinese government able to inspect any property ("Data") of any chinese corp in the world, so whatever tiktok says, government have perfect legal reason to ban tiktok for "national security".

But they can get around the ban by moving their company to somewhere else in the world and complying to US laws (but that'd be pretty hard right now).

Tiktok was a good platform AFAIK, the content might be bad but that's on every platform i think.
