People who think, there will be a ban in the USA soon, not understand American law system.
1. House of Representatives - decided
2. Now, Senate - there is no consesus in Senate yet
3. Then President sign
4. TikTok have 6 months to sell business, Donald Trump is against this act. After election he can reverse everything
5. TikTok have right to go to the court. Supreme Court of the United States is against this act, because it's against US constitution, 1st constitutional amendment
Ban for TikTok if happen, can take even 2-3 years to start

Maybe maybe it’s complex. Best case scenario they sell it off but again there’s no certainty it’ll happen

Nah, I heard about such a ban years ago but it never happens, so I don't believe it will ever happen in the future.

Tiktok can not be sold, as per China regulations for homegrown algorithms. China will never permit it to sell, as they must seek permission to do so. That means either the US backtracks, or it gets banned. Based on the submission quoted, most likely thing to happen is that the US will reverse itself.. especially because of point 5.
