TikTok auidence country change

I started to mark all the videos from my country in For You page as "Not interested", after a few hours my feed filtered from that kind of videos and now i have only US videos. So does it mean, that when i post my first video, it will be shown to US audience as well?

No, Tik Tok will continue to show your uploads to your country even if your "For You" feed is mostly US audience.
 
Bro you just have to buy a US based account and use it on an iOS device with a good quality VPN otherwise you will get your geo audience.

I'm not promoting or anything but the only ones I know of are Accfarm, they have a thread on BHW Marketplace. If you manage your account right, never access your TikTok account it if you are not using VPN, you will be able to have about 90% of your audience from the US. I have 3 accounts all of which have majority from the US. I think one account goes for $5 something like that (since they are aged and not completely new). good luck

hi there from Aus. Been reading all posts about tiktok USA audience target intent and clearly you are the most knowledgeable.

Please tell me if i get this one right:

Get a factory reset or brand new handset.

Activate Express or Nord or any suitable VPN (you haven’t actually recommended any VPN).

Avoid downloading apps or whatever can give away location.

Buy aged US account.

Access US tiktok account only when VPN is on.

Check IP before uploading to tiktok.

Q: will the fact that i would be buying an Aussie Sim card give away my location? cos as far as i know activating the sim card will force iphone to show aus app store and not US app store.

sorry if the above makes no sense and TIA for replying.

ps:have you considered posting a tiktok guide for non US posters?

If I were you I'd probably get a cheap iPhone (a 2nd hand iPhone 6 goes for like $70) and use it without a sim card. Most of the steps you got are right, just remember to restart your device once you remove your SIM. It takes quite some time if you use your main phone for both TikTok and day-to-day life. Also, why would you want to change your geo? Australia is 1st tier country, many would buy an account that has a geo in an English speaking state that is somehow wealthy.

p.s. this question has already been answered by other board members that have been doing this for far longer than I have. I'm just saying what woks for me. hope this helps.
 
Its way more simple than all of this, I live in europe and I bought a us sim card from ebay and put it on my phone with wifi. I tried the whole VPN stuff didn't work. As soon as I put in the US sim my explore page and the whole app layout was completely USA style. It was kinda cool to find out that the US version even has different buttons and stuff than europe. I didnt even have to active the sim or connect with anything. I just put it in my iPhone 11. I didn't even switch accounts or create a new one. After testing 3 days my analytics now show most of my traffic coming from USA.

no didnt do shit just put in the SIM that was literally it I didnt even create a new tiktok or activate the sim or anything, however if I put in my old sim it reverts back so I make sure to just open Tiktok with the US sim

No, it's not certain that only US people will get to see your video but it will go viral has normal,there are ways to blind it if you need your video shown on USA profiles only

Could you tell more about which brand / model of SIM card you have ordered?
Also, they can only be activated in the US right? So did you buy it pre-activated by the seller or are you just using it without activating it?

You can change the algorithm on your feed but can't change the algo when you post videos. They will always be seen in your country.
