Hello everyone,

i bought a tiktok acc from the us (i‘m living in germany).
I can see tiktok store and also the first comments are all in English. However, when I want to post a video, tiktok shows me German addresses under the location. Although I always use a VPN (windscripe) when using it on my iPhone.
Is it possible that tiktok also analyzes other factors of the iPhone, such as system language? Maybe you can help me further.

Fck VPN ;)
You need USA sim card to see their live/fyp/shop
Use your local 4G as IP

TikTok read SIM card

Next problem would be the locked payment if you use the us account with a TT Shop

use diff ip, or use a rdp server from the us. not sure why the vpn isnt working. i use nord and it works great.

It is not necessary to have a SIM card, after resetting the system, connect the purchased residential proxy socks5 (I can not leave a link according to the rules of BHW, it is not allowed), then set everything to your geo and change the GPS location via 3utools

Tiktok is only based on your IP address

language or other things don't matter, you can change it in settings

You need a US sim card. Don't use use VPNs for TikTok accounts. Use 4g mobile proxies.

You have the expert knowledge in your thread; @florianqq

Otherwise, correct me if im wrong, @Lukmat: Residential Proxys, with AD-Browser and proper careful behavior is still possible.
The biggest downside is that your feed and videos will be very slow.

So targeting the US is a whole topic to consider.
Especially because they scan different things, as i learned from @Lukmat (Wifi close to you etc.)

rule 1 - never use a VPN on a social media account
rule 2 - never use a VPN on a social media account

use a proxy

Won't this be best guys?
- Seperate Android phone with local European SIM Card for 4G/5G internet, with "VPN Hotspot" app installed, set to your mobile 4G/5G proxy in the USA.
- And then hotspot it to your iPhone's WIFI on which you have TikTok installed.
(And this iPhone should be factory resetted first, and should have a fresh/never-shadowbanned US e-SIM, and all appleid/regional/timezone/language settings set to US, and GPS location spoofed to some US location where your IP is)

Or this counts as VPN for you?

So you mean, after verifying using a USA SIM card purchased online, all you need to do is reset the phone and set it up to USA geo?

Even if you register the account from another country?

In my experience, the (e-)SIM has big influence, but its not the only thing, it's roughly something like this:
- you get a % in your feed from your (e-)SIM country.
- you get a % in your feed from your GPS location
- you get a % in your feed from your IP location
- you get a % in your feed from your regional settings

for example if you change everything to US, except your GPS location, then you get a lot of US stuff in the feed, but still get some stuff in your feed from your actual GPS location, although that might be only a smaller percentage than you normally would get if you were all normal in that location.

It sounds like TikTok is using a combination of factors to determine your location, including your device's settings. Here are a few things to consider:

  1. Device Language and Region Settings: If your iPhone's language and region settings are set to German, TikTok may prioritize that information over the VPN. Try changing your device's language and region to the US.
  2. VPN Configuration: Make sure your VPN is correctly set up to route all traffic through the US. Sometimes, apps can still detect your real location if the VPN isn’t functioning properly.
  3. App Permissions: Check if TikTok has permission to access your location. If it does, it might be using GPS data instead of relying solely on the VPN.
  4. Network Information: Some apps analyze your network's IP address and might still detect your actual location. Ensure that your VPN is masking your IP effectively.
  5. Clear Cache and Data: Sometimes, cached data can influence how an app behaves. Try clearing the app cache or reinstalling TikTok.

Will TikTok fully work (& not shadowban you) if you deny permission for "location services" in your phone settings for TIkTok?

You can either use a U.S. SIM card or a proxy. You also have the option to switch from a mobile device to an antidetect browser profile with a U.S. proxy.
