Is the md5 hash got changed if you copy your video to video editor and export out ?

What video editor? Some of them convert the video by default, so the md5 changes even if you otherwise don't touch the video, other tools don't convert the video when saving without editing, so the md5 won't change. If you don't change anything, what you described is practically a 'save as' process, it's up to the converter (and/or your settings) whether it gets saved without conversion (same md5) or after conversion (different md5). It's easy to test though.

If you use Linux, use this command:

echo 0 >> your video.mp4

It will change the hash, without breaking your video.

Thanks for the useful information. I am using Enlight Videoleap on my phone to perform the "save as" process.

Doesn't matter if you change the md5, TikTok uses AI to analyze your video and detect and tag the content. The most important part is deleting all metadata from the video, deleting watermarks, and modify it somehow (e.g. Mirror the video or stretch it a bit). This is only if you are reposting content from TikTok directly, otherwise just removing watermarks and clearing metadata should be enough.

How can I change metadata?
