What's your opinions on tiered linking as a legitimate SEO tactic nowadays?
I know that the new Google algorithm is targetting websites on a page level, rather than a domain level, so what do you think about:
- Building a Tumblr Blog/Web 2.0
- Building blog comments, forum posts, profiles etc to the buffer
- Linking from the buffer to an inner page of your website
- Linking from the inner page of your website to your 'money pages'
If Google decides to slap the inner page, then you can just remove the Buffer backlink and hopefully recover the inner page without ever damaging your money pages.
