Does tiered linkbuilding still work in 2014? How effective can it be after all of the latest algorithm updates targeting the strategy?

I used Matthew Woodwards theme because he has an epic blog post about how to set up a website like his. It was simple and a quick head start to getting my blog going.

Overall in your SEO business/strategy/website do you find that low searched long tail keywords convert better than aiming for a keyword that has a big monthly search?

The two links are the Black Hat World Threads right below the Tiered linking picture.

iBrazilian, I think it really depends on your niche/industry. For example if you rank for a weight loss keyword that gets searched millions of times a month you will receive a flood of traffic but most of that traffic will be browsing for information, nutritional facts, price shopping etc.

If you try to rank for lets say "plumber services in Your Local Area" and show up #1 there is a much higher % of conversions.
