Tier 2 question

I have some really nice tier 1 niche specific backlinks. I'm considering placing a PBN order from a really nice network to add three very strong tier 2 links to each tier 1.

My question is should all three tier 2 links use the same exact match keywords as the t1? I will obviously be building more tier 2 links, but since these are high quality PBN links should I try to get the most bang for my buck; or would this leave too large of a footprint?

T1 - 20 links - 10 exact match keywords

T2 - 60 PBN links - 10 exact match keywords
T2 - 240 web 2.0 blog post - mix of long tail, naked, and other niche relevant KWs
T2 - 60 web 2.0 profiles - naked
T2 - Mix of GSA links - naked, generic, and niche relevant

Would something like this create enough diversity?

So, to make those posts on your tier 1 more powerful, you point a few hundred tier 2 links at the tier 1’s. Then you point a few thousand links at your tier 2’s and it can go on, but I don’t see a need to using tier 4 and up in most cases. use t2 links as partial match keywords . if you have any doubt in tier building method you can skype me prajith.s6

Thanks, those are actually all T2 I just separated each link type by line to make it a bit easier to read. After sleeping on it I think that should be safe enough.
 
Thats interesting - so for the tier 2 - partial match and tier 3? How does bookmaking come into this? Cheers

I am so curious what your tier 1 links are :), You give more detail on all the T2's which really makes me curious haha
 
You should really mention what the tier 1 links are. If PBN posts, then don't build backlinks to them. If web 2.0s, then surely do so.

But one important thing... you will have 50% exact match ratio this way, so that's a huge NO. If you do not have other link built already in place, then definitely do NOT do this kind of anchor spread.

@Nargil - can you shed some light on the logic for not pointing non-spammy links to PBNs?

If they are non spammy, why can't you point them to your money site then? By doing tier 2 to your PBN, you are creating footprints, plus risking you will screw your site up. There's really no point in doing that. Rather than wasting money on tier 2 links, get a better domain. You will get links that you won't be able to create yourself and you won't risk footprints.

And don't even think of GSA to PBNs please.
 
I can only go on personal experience as most of the actual research on tis is confined to t1 links. I never optimise my anchor text for t2 and lower - and for me tier 3 is the indexing tier (and the final tier)
One rule is the "rule of squares" for links. 10 T1 might be 100 T2 and 10,000 T3 (so every t1 has 10 t2 pointing to it and evert t2 has 100 t3 pointing to it - as an example)
I might go slightly lower on t3 - and that's the reason I never use t4 :)

my thinking was that a PBN need to be at an acceptable TF/CF ratio; hence wanting to use tier 2 links to push them at an acceptable range. I take it from you is that if I find a non-spammy backlink with a good tf/cf ratio, it is better to use it for tier 1 and not worry about tier 2. correct?

Tf Cf ratio is pointless. It has nothing to do with the domain being clean. You are focusing on irrelevant things.
