I need just a little help understanding something about Tier 1 link building. The idea is simple enough and I understand it. What I am confused about is the part where you need to write more unique articles. Here's a quick run down of what I did so far.

I basically have a MNS that has an EMD and its a wordpress site with 10 unique articles written by me. Its about 5 months old and I wanted to start manually building tier 1 links over the next 2 weeks.

So I put together a list of sites from this forum, checked the PR and checked to see if they are indexed, sorted and organized it and I have a nice list of web 2.0's

According to all the blueprints, videos and write-ups I have seen people are then writing on average 3 more unique articles about the niche and posting these to the first web 2.0, then they spin it and post to another web 2.0 and this goes on for about 20 sites. Oh and each article has pics and videos and no more than 3 links, only 1 linking to your site.

I thought you were not supposed to spin articles for tier 1?

Spin articles work fine, but just understand you risk your tier 1 being removed if you use spun articles. Also there's a higher chance of getting slapped by Google if not done properly.

Sounds good. I just watched Matt's video on advanced spinning so that kinda puts it into perspective. Manual spinning a large article seems to be the way to go. Thanks.
