Do you have any problem changing the thumbnails for a given video i mean it's been more than 6 hours (maximum delay) but i still got this damn thumbnail that shows up & not the new despite trying with 2 browsers, logged in or off and cached emptied. That's weird.

Anyway, would you consider that a good thumbnail is a KEY parameter to take your video on its way to popularity along with the well chosen tag ?

I assume your uploading the video to youtube? I've never had the problem of waiting that long for the thumbnails to show up so that's odd.

Also, a good thumbnail is definitely KEY for getting clicked.
Just think about it in your eyes, if you see the same title for a video, but a thumbnail on one is something that's a really clear picture and the other is just a picture of a blurred image, which are YOU more likely to click on to watch?

Yeah that's what i always thought: a good thumbnail, a good picture with effects added via photoshop can translate into more views and/or cash if you got a lil' business on youtube.
Maybe someone figured it out before me (or maybe not can't tell really)
One thing i know is, to get a customized thumbnail like the one below you'd need to be a "youtube partner" or something, well no need to be an affiliate with my method.

    example:
