Starmer threatening to ban X in the UK.

Will people who live in the UK and own an X account be able to get around this with VPS/VPN?

As in - the ban will be people using UK IP addresses to access the platform?

you can try cloud phone services, attach another country mobile proxy on it to store the twitter acc as preparation

remember to add more balances for auto renewal or if the cloud phone expires data on that will be permanently erased without chance of recovery

and if possible you may add your another acc created on another country IP as the page's admin

Will keep in mind thanks.

I wonder if it would be just a case of not being able to access it from the UK. I doubt Musk would give a f*ck about forcing it on people to change their details.
 
Is this official?
I think people could use VPNs to bypass it, but X could also geo block based on billing/payment info. Realistically, a full technical block is difficult

Not official just Starmer / Government asking Ofcom to consider banning it - although it also says "accessing it from the UK" so who knows.
