That actually says that there's very LITTLE a competitor can do....Doesn't really prove your point...I see that the one 'maybe' concern is getting links built in 'bad' places....I wonder...Is there a way to 'Ban' google counting a link almost like you can tell them not to crawl and count certain parts of your site in robots.txt..I know of 'nofollow' on-site..There should be a way of no-following links coming from other sites into yours!

Would a email to google explaining what this guy is threatning to do along with screen shots help, explaining that you dont want to get banned , they probs have some kind of system which will not get your site flagged at all,
