I run a niche account about making money from e-book threads. Others in my niche have huge views and metrics with a small number of followers. After two weeks, I had accumulated over 70 followers and 8,000 views. On November 6, two of my posts were taken down for violations. Since then, I have had no views. A maximum of five per post. Does anyone have a similar problem?

I had a similar issue with a Threads account, and it never worked again — maybe there really is a shadowban. The same thing can happen on Quora, Twitter, and Reddit too.

It sounds like your account may have been flagged or shadowbanned after those violations, which can drastically reduce post visibility, so the best approach is to review and follow the platform’s content guidelines carefully, avoid posting similar flagged material, and consider reaching out to support to clarify the issue or appeal the removals.

The only solution is just try posting less for a few days, avoid links or hashtags for a bit, and keep things more organic. It usually clears up after some time

When a post gets flagged, the account often gets soft-limited for a while, so drops like that are common; keep posting consistently and it usually lifts after some days.

Shadowbans imposed by social media platforms on your account typically lift within days or weeks. However, severe violations may result in permanent traffic restrictions on your account. For instance, shadowbans on Reddit are nearly permanent. Always review your posted content for compliance. Additionally, check your device and network environment.

Yes, your account could got shadow banned. Maybe there is on Threads some card with account status like on Instagram (on Instagram in this card you can check if you are shadow banned or not)

When you post things that go against their TOS, your account may get flagged. In that case, look into their TOS and be more cautious of the content you post so that the profile stays safe.

Hi, just check from another account (ask for a friend) if you type in your username and it's doesn't appear in search unless you enter full username, then you are have some restrictions.
I have the same issue right now

I’ve seen something similar — once a platform flags a couple posts, reach can tank for a while. It doesn’t always mean a full shadowban, but the account can get deprioritized. What helped me was slowing down, posting fewer but higher-quality threads, and giving it some time. Reach usually starts creeping back once the account rebuilds trust
