Threads flopped?

So, you guys made several posts on the first day about possible success and hype, now I think I can do this post.

apparently Threads is a graveyard of accounts that will sit there forgotten so that the linked Instagram doesn't get deleted

people got curious, took a look, saw it's shit and left.

do you agree or is it too early while europeans have not been able to see this yet?

Yeah, it already flopped, I heard the users are down 70%, the app is destined to fail, the initial hype was just an overhyped, people became less interested in the app, and the app is really boring, I never used it after I created an account

The future of threads are to decided by the company in line with something new and innovative! I think the thread part is just to compete with Twitter, and that market is heavily saturated.

It was clearly an unfinished product that Zuckerburg had to rush, to capitalize on the bad PR that Musk's Twitter (err.. "X") was getting at the time.

They need to go back to the drawing board and improve the product. It's horrible right now. Only celebrities are getting shine.

Threads was made to capitalize on Elon's mistakes and that's only good for short term growth. People stop being angry after a week or so, now the only reason people started using threads in the 1st place is gone. So yes, I think it flopped

It would be extremely difficult to launch a successful social media platform in this day and age. It requires a unique idea which is not only appreciated, but frequently used.
The part where Threads messed up is the idea is definitely not unique.

My absolute favourite part … is the bit where all the Elon Musk hating, minimum wage, blue haired creatives, spend the next six months trying so hard to get their friends to abandon Twitter … so they can feel vindicated.

of course the app was going to kick of big, how could it not with FB launching it.. but now one cares now, because people hate fb & Mark no one trusts them... Im glad it failed and i dont want another social platform on the scene
