Thread just disappeared, and my answer with: not even a notification?

Hi,
So I guess that a thread I replied to yesterday got taken down for some reason.
It was about valuating a Pinterest account for sale.
I was looking for that thread and thinking that I was having memory issues.
There isn't even a notification message to warn people that a message was there but was deleted for reason X?

If a certain thread gets deleted for whatever reason, all the users who posted in it get no notifications/alerts. The only one who can get a notification/alert is the the one who created the thread.
