Thoughts on UK Press Backlinks?

I’ve been exploring the SEO impact of backlinks from UK-based media sites lately and wanted to hear some opinions. I know the usual suspects in the backlink world (PBNs, guest posts, etc.), but I’m curious if anyone here has experience or insights specifically with UK media links?

I am referring to top links such as the mirror, the daily record, the daily star etc,

Has anyone noticed any particular boost in rankings from them, especially for local niches or in the UK market? I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth investing time in building these connections or if they’re overrated compared to other link types.

As with most types of PR links, they will likely be NF links. I have used them on various projects and in my experience, they can at least add authority to a site and bring traffic.

In terms of boosting a sites ranking, I have never experienced any major SEO rankings boost using PR's for UK Sites.

Yeah it does seem most are NF, although I have seen DF links from the mirror before to external sites. Do you think there's much of a difference between NF and DF these days? I have done tests with wikipedia links directly increasing DR of a page almost instantly which are of course no follow.

Absolutely there's a difference between DF and NF. Might be wise to do some research on this
