Thoughts on this?

I was wondering what would happen if I purchased a fitness account which has around 1000 likes per post with 11000 followers and then gradually overtime turned it into more of a personalized instagram account about myself and fitness as I am a fitness fanatic myself. Would this allow me to continue to grow and potentially gain a solid income from it with sponsorships and shout outs and all that jazz?

If you think that you can provide quality content in that niche then it's definitely right step for you. Do it properly and it will pays of for sure.

Still you can do it, I had fitness account with 80% of female followers. It's just stereotype, quality content = followers

Seems interesting, It depends what type of stuff you post and how you turn it into a more personal account
