If SEO is waste of time, so is blogging. If you want to grow a website, then SEO is mandatory. You can ignore SEO for landing pages targeting alternative traffic sources.

Organic traffic is still the highest quality of traffic. It's not a waste of time but focusing only on SEO can be fatal for your project. Definitely need to diversify your traffic sources.

SEO Still works perfectly. SEO just evolved. If we talk about Off page just make sure to make Authoritative backlinks focus on quality. Good 10 Backlinks sites relevant to your niche will work way better than 100 general backlinks. and save your site from PBNs they often hurt the site.

Focus on creating genuinely helpful content that answers questions better than anyone else. A hard rule: NEVER buy packages from SEO agencies that promise top rankings or sell backlinks, especially those shady .edu link schemes! Google's AI is way too clever now! Those tactics will flag your site as spam and tank your rankings. The days of cheating with paid links are over. The game has completely shifted from manipulation to pure authenticity!
