Thoughts on the EU’s new AI image transparency rules?

From August 2026, businesses in the EU may need to disclose when realistic images are AI-generated or manipulated.

For anyone running an e-commerce brand: how are you planning to handle this without making your website look cluttered?

Would something subtle like “Digitally generated” in the corner be enough, or do you think it needs to explicitly say “AI-generated”?

Curious how others are approaching this.

I have been following New York's laws and adding "Synthetic Performer" or "AI Generated" with a small watermark in the bottom right hand corner of the image when it would be applicable. Hopefully that would work the same for EU.
