Hey BHW,

The last couple of years I've been working as a freelancer writing casino content for various affiliate sites.
This is not English language affiliate sites by the way, I write in my native European language.

While I'm making more money as a native content writer than I did in my previous office job, I have now started asking myself the following question:
Could it be possible for me to start my own affiliate site instead of simply writing content for the big players in the market?

I have no experience what so ever when if comes to affiliate/marketing, but through the last couple of years I've become very knowledgeable about everything related to online casinos.
I'm also clueless about website development, and I don't know how to code. But after some Googling I see that it's possible to buy template sites for making your own casino affiliate site, so maybe that could be an option.

Is it possible for an individual like me to have any success in starting a casino affiliate sites, or can only big companies with big budgets succeed?
My casino affiliate site would only be targeting my native country, so obviously the competition might not be as big as in the English speaking market.
However my country is a big focus for most casinos/bookmakers, due to the spending power of the people here.

Having passive income has been something I've been thinking more and more about, and my first thought was making a casino affiliate site since it's an industry I've been working in.

If anyone has any thoughts around the subject, any advice or tips at all, I would be thankful!

By the way, I would be writing all of the content myself. I see that some of the content I've written for affiliate sites have done very well on the Google page rankings.

- Cheers

The casino affiliate business is something really hard to do it all alone.

You need dev skills to build a competitive website, content is not enough because there are plenty of things involved like website architecture, mobile optimization, graphics, etc. Yes, you can do it by yourself but it will take some time for you to learn all of that.

Once your website is ready it's time for marketing.

1) SEO skills at first place( Strategy, On-Page, Tech SEO, Off-page SEO, and more)

2) CR optimization skills - every click counts, and every FTD is welcomed. *FTD stands for "first-time deposit"

3) Analytics skills

4) and much more

I have some projects and all of them include JV ventures because even for me with a lot of experience in casinos, it's hard to do it just with 2 hands :)

Always nice to have an extra pair of hands - then again you can always wear all the hats. If you created the content for these sites, have you kept up to date with them? Repeat work from same clients? This may be your sign to go out and just do it ;) Domain and hosting is such a small overhead, your time on the other hand... Anyways good luck! Keep us posted.

You are not alone bro. Niko is right about some things but his approach for the new guys coming tho the casino niche is to pessimistic. There is a big chance that you can succeed in the space but sure maybe you need some help. To be real, content writing is something that i can do and i wrote most of the blog posts in the past for myself on some other topics, but i would rather give that to someone who is better in it then me. On the other hand im good at developing websites, basic SEO knowledge, and most important i have been in affiliate gaming bussiness for a couple of years and know a thing or two about it in general.

If you want you can PM me and chat about some things if you are interested. I would like to know more about the country u live and some other things regarding the online casinos there.
Have a great journey!

Hi, i got a lot of experience running Blackhat ads on Social Media. Would you guys say that simply by running Blackhat ads to promote a Casino affiliate programm or maybe your own affiliate site, would be enough to make money with it ?
