Anyone in XRP? what do you guys think? is it possible for this currency to hit $1-2 mark in the next few months?

XRP is too unstable, it might go up and hit $1-2 or might go even down

Despite my reluctance to buy Ripple because of its centralized nature, I've read recently they're working with PayPal is some capacity. Don't know what this means for the future. As for price, I could see it reaching that mark, yes. I'm doubtful it will be within the next few months, however.

Stay away the bankers will screw you the first chance they get

I really like the idea behind ripple and yes I think it will go up... It would be more suited for a long term investment. If you are looking for a quick buck, then trade ethereum or btc with leverage.

Ripple and XRP are two different things technically, but XRP should follow if Ripple keeps expanding. The banks use a different system than XRP. That's why even though Ripple's doing a lot of things, XRP might be down and acting all weird. I'm currently about $1200 in on it, hoping for it double but I know it'll be a looong time before that happens from its current position. I think it'll go up eventually, but I don't think much will happen over the next month or two.

XRP is the future, banks in Japan use, several big international banks and Google have invested in it but it could take a long ass time for it to be worth something to us.

I agree with this as well, I really think in the near future it will increase a lot in price like BTC and Etherum. I wouldn't be surprised if after X years it reaches 3 figures. This is the perfect time where you put aside a sum of $100-1k to buy the coins and wait until it hits $100+, you will literally become a millionaire. I already did that, although mind you this was NOT an investment in the pure meaning of that word, I don't care if I ever get that money back, so it's more like gambling, but I do believe that Ripple will revolutionize banking based on a lot of research that I have done and if that happens, my prediction will come true.

the problem with xrp is most of the 60% to 70% of the coins is already premined.
20 billions shares whas distributed to 3 founders. 1 founder which move away and started his own coins called stellar. this probably just a big big arbitrage to him.

avoid xrp. imagine if this thing hits 1 dollar. the founder will be freaking billionaires without really doing anything. no real usage. just hype.

dont get me wrong i still think its a good coin for making money which is what most of us want. but future use? nada

I thought XRP and Ripple are the same thing?

Ripple will definitely go up due to all the bank deals they have with the largest banks in the world and I just read about mastercard experimenting with ripple, many financial institutions are testing it and if they decide to implement this tech it will skyrocket (but this might take years)

Ripple is a company, XRP is its product. The banks are investing directly are into XRP, they're investing their time and money into the company. The price of XRP usually correlates with whats happening with the company, however, not always.

If you were able to get in during the re-tracement (sub .20 cents) with a decent stop loss you'd be sitting pretty now regardless of the direction it goes.
It does seem that the price of BTC is correlating more so with the direction of where XRP goes. However make sure your referencing all the markets to get a good gauge on where things are headed.
XRPUSD, XRPUSDT, XRPBTC, BTCUSD, and so forth. Along with pay attention to the different exchanges and alternative currencies (USD/EUR/etc.).
Personally hoping that things retest the lows before/if they start making higher highs. Do I think we could see $1 or higher in the future, definitely.
Especially when you take where BTC may be in the next 6-12 months+. You could speculate that all the markets could get a push in the positive direction as the market cap breaks 100's billions+. (which just happened as of today) Pretty much only chimed in here just so I can come back to this post in future.
