Thoughts on Money Making Idea?

Forgive me if this idea is already popular or just plain stupid. I'm new here and still learning.. So here's my idea.

I found a website that has an affiliate program that offers a 15% commission on all products. My plan was to list their items on ebay, and whenever somebody buys a product from me, use my link to purchase the item and get 15% back and make a profit.

Would something like this work? I appreciate the help

eBay takes about 15% of the money you make regardless, so right off the bat I can say this would not yield you any profit. Also, you cannot normally buy stuff through your own affiliate link.

Hmm.. Maybe if you list it as a store. You can make a listing for it, then in the listing link out to the store.
