Thoughts on Mautic?

So I came across Mautic and have been planning to use it ever since.

My email list isn't big (under 4K right now) and planning to build Email Campaigns for the same!

Would like to know if anyone has tested it out (drop a review) or has a better suggestion!

I'm mainly looking for Self Hosted solutions (hate those MailChimp shit)

I just discovered this myself while I was researching Sendy. This might be a more appropriate long term solution for managing all my contacts for all my project in a central location. Have you managed to try this out yet? I'm considering it as well and I will respond here if I do try it out.

Hi - new to the forum and also looking at Mautic.org. How has your experience been? any tips or thoughts for a newbie?

I was never able to properly import my contacts, I switched to sendy and haven't had any problems at all. On paper, Mautic looks like a great free CRM but it simply didn't work for me and I got tired of troubleshooting. It clearly has potential but it just isn't quite where it needs to be yet.
