Just collect emails if you can't handle locking the ebook behind a locker.

Depends on what you wanna achieve. You'll often find that people who are willing to read an ebook, don't fall for CPA content lockers as much (unless it's a Fortnite free vbucks ebook maybe, depends on your niche obviously)
It's easy to implement, but if your traffic is somewhat media literate they will consider it spammy and it won't earn you much, so might make sense to collect emails or social-lock instead. But depends on your niche ofc.
