Hi, I've read on a few threads here that ringtone offers on youtube are really oversaturated, however in trying to do some digging I found that by looking at popular videos (I did most popular:today, most popular:this week, most viewed:today, most viewed:this week) and found no ringtone offers at all. Then I tried to search for something popular "50 cent" and looked through a few videos again with no ringtone sites. So, do you guys really think that these are oversaturated?
Also, the videos that I did find were almost all "official" videos from the owners like, universal, etc. So are others who post them promoting ringtone sites just getting removed really fast?
My other thought regarding oversaturation is that there are so many niches that could keep this profitable, while most people post popular (top 40) music like "50 cent", you could post obscure punk, death metal, 80's music, 70's hair bands, etc. They wouldn't get the same views/conversions, however they could still make money, and perhaps go under the "youtube radar".
Any thoughts, advice, case studies you guys have would be greatly appreciated, especially any advice from those of you who do make good money using this system!
Thank you!
