Thoughts on Google Stitch

So google made a new solution called stitch that designs for you and can be used in parallel with figma I think, has anyone used it and noticed inconsistency with it as it keeps designing for me I made an app and with each new generation it made the navigation keeps looking more different than the one before it. I prompted it to recheck and make the navigation consistent but it still makes it different always, has anyone got around this issue?

That's a good question. That's a significant issue. I haven't had that problems in a very limited amount of use, but I have not really gone into too much detail with my prompts, mainly just tweaking colors and stuff.

That’s a common issue right now, and most people fix it by locking the navigation as a fixed component or reference frame and prompting Stitch to reuse it exactly instead of regenerating it each time.

From what I’ve seen this happens when stitch treats each generation as a fresh layout instead of building off a locked structure. it’s decent for ideation, but not great at maintaining strict consistency yet.
i’ve had better results defining the nav as a fixed component and then doing final alignment manually in figma, right now it feels more like a starting point than something you can actually rely on for production layouts
