Anyone has experience with them?

This is the first page i came across when i searched for iPage scam. When you narrow down the results to last year, you can clearly see that they have done massive damage control since then, by building many web properties with +ve reviews. I'd go here for some real reviews tho- http://www.webhostingtalk.com/
 
Yes, I have experience to iPage they are good and not bad in this reasonable price... better other other cheap hosting...
 
iPage was one of the worst hosting providers I've ever used.

For shared hosting, $4 - $8/month is reasonable in my opinion. I've never had any bad experiences with Hostwinds.
 
Ipage are one of many shared hosting accounts I own for my PBN.

They aren't the best, but they are cheap, I would never host a MS on them.

Also, the php limit is set very low on the basic package which means you need to contact support to get plugins in wordpress to work.
 
A cheap host i always recommend is Mjzhosting.com. $19 for a year is not bad and they provide a good service. It's a small operation and the support isn't 24/7 however whenever i faced problems they help out promptly.
 
you can also check out hostvizor, hostwinds and hostgator. I've never had any issues with them, and make sure you search for coupon code, it will save you some $$

I thought you will send me to google or something, as I did, but there is too much hosting site, hard to make a decision without quality opinions. Thank you again!
 
I have used iPage for an year and I was not completely disappointed with them. The servers are slow, they have an "improvised" CPanel and I had few downtimes (around 95% uptime). But I was into FB pages back then, I even had spikes of 15k traffic per day and the servers were up. Sure, I had a non optimized image entertainment website and it loaded in 6-7 seconds, but no shared hosting that cheap would allow you to have that much traffic per day. I did receive a message from them, saying that I should upgrade my package (which obviously I didn't), I bought another hosting from another company and moved on.

Back at them, they do not really suck and if the price is still between $1-$2/month, then it's a good deal. I mean, I got more from the FB and AdWords coupons, that's actually how I got into PPC :)

If you want quality shared hosting, I really recommend Servikus, that's what I'm using right now and I couldn't be happier about them.

Edit: Oh yeah, support sucks too.
 
They are not bad.. I had several websites on them, and it works..
