im looking for the wordpress theme that the famous "thisiswhyimbroke(.)com" site uses.

anyone knows a theme which is identical or similar to this?

A perfect clone of this theme is now available at Gumroad. Just bought and installed it now. I was searching like you from past few weeks. I cannot post links here so you can search it at gumroad and hope you will get it. :)

This looks like is a totally custom theme which is 1 of a kind and is not available as a download on the wordpress site or elsewhere.

If you wish to know what WordPress theme is a given website using, checking the source code is the best way to find it out.
But unfortunately the website you provided does not use Wordpress and is a custom HTML design!

Yes, the original site is pure HTML, Css and javascript that is why many people are looking for a wordpress theme, to avoid dealing with everyghing from the scratch.
