Here finally I found this great website, it's awesome!
If you know how to make 3D design, you can make one, then this website will print the item (3D printing) and ship it to your customers!

You need only to make 3D design (ex. with SolidWorks).
If you are asking yourself: I can't make 3D design, then go to Google and get lessons for free with Youtube, practice will make you better! Take action guys! 3D printing is going to be a good money making opportunity right now! Just image some ideas: make 3D design+setup FB Ads campaign= $$

Congrats for finding them now, been around for a while. Have a factory in LIC in NYC and have really profited from the 3d printing trend. Good tools for even noobs to design and sell their own stuff, definitely a good start vs. buying the equipment (given the home versions are sub par to their enteprise ones)

I could already see donald wilson making a WSO out of this, haha.

But you're right. This has a HUGE potential.

I don't see much in this myself when you actually break it down.

even a small figurine can cost upto $70. You then have to add your cut so lets say you try to sell it elsewhere for $100.

$100 for something that breaks easy, looks meh and comes in a shapeways branded box so they can go and get their own done for $70. good luck

Lol I didn't have the idea about selling a WSO (I remember people when they were selling WSO's about Teespring)!! It could make more money! ;)

I don't know, maybe being creative something will sell better than others.
