I dont mind sharing this cause yall are not my competition and even if your were. Most people barely take any sort of actions to the stuff they read here. A brief story on theory craft.
I have a competitor in a sexy job niche. He was able to rank tons PBN / spam / sites made to stack the deck on a keyword for years now. I was able to beat him out on local link equity the *normal way* of recent but doenst mind I stop trying to figure it out. One day it hit me calender ..... event..... calender tickets
So google is ranking sites categorically different. I was ranking as a:
A. local service provider like plumber, HVAC ....a guy you call local to schedule appointment
B. they event / performing arts / event venue - with this tag/title every google update all of his site shot through the roof every update
So i coded a site and built the same exact site as them calenders / event / arts .... mentioned tickets, venues and the got da*N site ranked in 2-3 days on every low or mid keyword to page one. On the main keyword it lack link equity but rose from the abyss to page 3. Probably will keep rising.
So all of the parasite SEO he uses are event ticket driven sites and all rank page 1-2 LOL, just now figuring this out. In every city like Las Vegas or Miami, Orlando .. guess which types of sites dominate.... events driven. A few normal service local sites sneak in their well aged though and link equity.
Just blows my mind on how SEO works and how google can be manipulated on a topical level to where sites with 0 backlinks can out rank you because of dumb luck or a organized strategy to figure this out. Now I am trying to find out the topical context of every site before i implement a strategy. Link equity w/o knowing this still works though.
I have sites to update now and make it look like a event / event venue.....smh it is so funnny to see this work and easy to implement. Hope this helps you get some wins. I have tried this topcial thing in some other niches and it works. I outranked a mommy blog with crazy link equity on a best things to do in.... for kw i wanted. While I am impresssed this organization did this for years to win and still winning. I am baffled how they figured it out in the first place.
