This video could change your life

Working Hard is for Donkey (like the donkey keep talking in the vid).

What you need is to work wise. Think twice before you work.

It is nice really making money, telling other people they should work more and harder

You are already hurt, you are already in pain....now get a reward for it.Don't quite!

Awesome!!

Self-Help seminars and "inspirational" videos crack me up.
Who gains motivation from this garbage?
This sounds like Tony Robbins crap... I wonder if people who watch these have all had an easy, boring life and find it hard to ever feel motivation to do anything.

Motivation, working hard, and self sacrifice have always been the things I've had in abundance...
Hell I would even go so far as to, not so humbly, say I had abnormally high intelligence as well (I did graduate from HYPS).

I can go into why none of this shit matters in the slightest to whether or not you "make it" in this country, but I don't feel inclined presently.

Alright, time to get back to my QM electron diffusion research dissertation.

So because you have always been motivated, everyone else should be?
Maybe the rest of us aren't as good as you and need some help sometimes?

People that come here to feed their egos crack me up. Go figure.

I cannot afford an ego, and neither can you.
This world will crush you for the hell of it if you develop one.

won't watch it again, but ill tell you what i thought in the day, i'm all in for hard work, and pursue sucess at all cost, but i also LOVE having my day off, taking a nap, etc, basically enjoying life, hard-working doesnt mean CONSTANT working...

just my 2 cents

Hey guys, I like all the motivational stuff out there, especially what Will Smith says, watched his videos hundred of times, great man.
But recently I stumbled on this guy named George Carlin and I really enjoyed his talks on different topics. Definitely check him out.

Here is a 20-sec videocut of him talking about motivation, lol, and he is absolutely right IMO!
Isn't it really that simple? What you think fellas? ;-)

I wanted to embed the video, but cannot post links yet, so

Anyone ordered his book? He seems like a cool guy who knows what's he doing, might as well order it.

This video really really inspired me, especially part 1.

"LMAO Press play on both of these videos at the same time"

How you do that? I don't have two mouses.

I totally agree with everything this man says. I play the guitar, not too bad either, but I used to practice constantly 8 or 10 hours a day for years. I played when I had no skin left on the ends of my fingers. I played one gig where the blood was literally running down my arm and dripping off my elbow onto the floor and the guitar.

I teach students now who come back a week later and haven't even picked the damn thing up since the week before. It makes me so mad. Most people don't have the commitment to succeed, they think they can do a few posts or set up a couple of websites and one day they will wake up to find millions in there bank accounts.

I love this video it is so real. If you want to be succesful you have to put in the work. Success will come after the pain and effort but if you commit yourself whole heartedly it will come, it is inevitable.

What happened to your guitar playing?

I used to take guitar when I was like 14. I didn't like it. My mom made me take it. I really didn't listen to music back then, so it was hard to enjoy it. My teacher asked me to pick a song I like and he could teach it to me. Well I didn't like anything. Looking back now, of course I wish I stuck with it and wish I could play now.

But anyways, in regards to your teaching. I hated it, didn't want to play it, but a) my mom made me practice every day, and b) I felt I needed to perfect what I was practicing for the next lesson. It was one on one teaching, but my instructor said I was furthest along than the rest. So for the most part, you have all these other students who are taking lessons because they want to, they want to play guitar, and enjoy music, but aren't even taking the time to practice in between lessons.
Just a little story you just reminded me of lol.

Still playing guitar as hard as ever mate.

Yes I have had students like you, tried to teach them songs they like but music doesn't seem as important to the young like it was back in the day and not enough people are willing to do the hard hours. Out of all the students I have taught I have only had 4 who were dedicated enough to do anything amazing with it. Shame but life is different now.
