Yup it's okay, but the SSL is only good for 3 months though, you will have to renew it again. This will be automatic if you have the LetsEncrypt Plugin on your cpanel, some hosting have it.
 
The free services always do possess some limitations. So I would suggest you to choose the best and affordable SSL certificates suiting your site requirements, provided by the hosts.

Free SSL are fine if you're not wanting to process payments through your own site as some merchants have specific requirements for these. Check with your merchant processor in their T&Cs.
