This trend isn’t just about fun videos. It’s a sign of something bigger with AI. And it’s worth asking some hard questions.

AI tools like Hedra can make content fast. You don’t need to be a pro. That’s great for creators but it also means anyone can make stuff that spreads like wildfire. These AI babies aren’t real. The voices aren’t real and yet millions watch them. TikTok pushes them hard because they get views and views mean money for TikTok. But what’s the cost?

They can make fake videos that look real. Today it’s a singing baby and tomorrow it could be a fake video of you saying something you never said. Deepfakes are already a problem. In 2025 already, there are cases of AI-generated videos being used to scam people. This tech is only getting better and that’s scary. We need to think about how it’s used.

Kids see them and think they’re real and if they grow up thinking fake stuff is real then how will they trust anything? We’re shaping their reality with AI. That’s a big responsibility.

I’m not saying don’t use AI. It’s a tool. It can be great. But we need to use it wisely. Ask where the audio comes from. Give credit if you can. Think about who might see your video and how they’ll feel. And maybe push for better rules around AI content. TikTok won’t do it unless we make them.
