What are you waiting for, that's freaking brilliant!

I remember the white line painting lakim0 shared, what's happening to people's brains?

Want to make a lot of money? Here's what you do:

Become a kindergarten teacher, give the kids paper and paint and have them throw paint on the paper. Take what people with too much money would call "Artwork" and sell it for 2M+.

ITT: people who know nothing about art.

I get the experience you can feel with art, and that's what it's about afterall. Emotions and telling a story.

But it's foolish to think these people aren't trolling us either. Come on.

I don't know who would be that brain fucked to buy this for $5,000.

Some people with money remind me of children at zoos just throwing food at animals. They want to just get rid of it and see what happens. The painting George Zimmerman did sold for $100,000. It's like some people have been playing with monopoly money for too long in their life and don't know what to do when they have real cash.

This one went for 1.2K x 15 editions and the artist surely put a lot of thought into it.

Well it might as well be sold for 5million, it's just no one will actually buy them.

The reality is exactly the opposite. While everyone is laughing at a concept they don't understand.
These people are investing their money in art which gives them a better return than if the money was
sitting in the bank.
The market doesn't fluctuate like stocks or bonds and it isn't affected by war, weather, or the economy.
While people laugh at this the owners are laughing back at them in a much bigger way.

That's cute! 4.3 million right here:

MInimalistic art is mind-bendingly expensive...
