No, I don't support child porn. That being said, my original post was regarding the reaction of a lot of people when the topic comes up. Everyone gets so heated and begins making remarks that they would hurt the individual for looking. I think the actual act of making the porn is what should be focused on, and prosecuted against. I don't think looking at it does anybody any physical or mental harm, and it's preventing the individual(s) in some cases to not act out on their attraction. You can't negate someones attraction to something just because your morals oppose to it. Pedophilia is no different then any of your other common attractions. It's a hardwired attraction, not something that you control. Just the same how people prefer short/tall, blonde/red-head, gay/straight.

Comparing it to bestiality, as bestiality is illegal in this country. Isn't it funny how the law doesn't prosecute to those who look at bestiality, but does prosecute against those who are caught doing it. You never hear about anybody being caught with bestiality on their computers, arrested and humiliated against because of their attraction.

The show was taped five episodes at a time and of course we were the last group. We were told to be at CFTO studios early in the morning,and we didn't tape until almost four p.m. thus making for a long day. The questions we were asked were basicly what I had put on the application form. The bake-off was the best part of the show, the kids really enjoyed it. The experience was a once in a lifetime chance and I'm glad my daughter (who is now 34 with an 11 year old daughter of her own) got to do the show.

The shows Producer was the one who selected the Contestants, and "aimed to de-emphasize competition and the materialistic goals of winning prizes by stressing the mother-child relationship and putting the emphasis on a positive lifestyle".



There is NO mention of any controversy or complaints anywhere online before these stupid "viral" videos were made. The show is pretty well respected and was set to return to air just a few years ago.

Also, the whole going on a date thing. This is the 80's. Just because people go on dates now and have sex on the first date doesn't mean that's what dating is about.

Little girls dream of getting married and falling in love. When he's asking them about a date it's just a "play date". There's absolutely nothing sexual about this. I went on "dates" when I was a kid.

The problem is society has become so sex-obsessed in 2012 they see sex everywhere they look. Even when I look back at some of my favorite tv programs as a kid, like he-man, I see comments on youtube about sexual innuendo and other sick shit.

The problem lies with the people viewing this in 2012. Our heads are filled with so much sex and violence that it's all we see wherever we look now.
