Been offered 100g to make a video is way different to a television show, you can get a way with alot when it comes to movie as we know it aint real.
But television show says different. It might be okay in the 80s, but sure as hell it aint now.
You are being ridiculous, period. I was going to keep quiet in this thread because my views contrast poorly with the majority of the repliers and I know debating this topic isn't going to somehow change any of our opinions on the topic... but I couldn't sit back and just let you go on and on about these 'random little girls' you keep bringing up... as if for some reason these girls weren't part of a fucking television show 20 some-odd years ago.
Give it a break dude, really. These 'random little girls' you keep referring to were contestants on a fucking television show. There wasn't anything sexual even implied, and if the parents suspected anything suspicious, they probably would have avoided bringing their children to the airings of the show, or would have avoided them from becoming a contestant.
It's insane how the majority of you twats are attacking a fucking host of a show 20-25 years ago. It's disgusting how many of you are making such horrible claims about this man whom you know nothing about. You people dwell and become so incredibly angry (pitchforks, and all...) when you see stories like this, or when you read the newspaper to see that somebody was charged with looking at CP (but hadn't actually done anything to anybody) instead of actually concerning yourselves with somebody who is actually causing somebody harm, physical or mental damage. Attack the individuals that's harming children, not comically kissing them during a fucking television show.
Learn how to fucking debate.
You said you were done 3 times, and yet you continue to reply with shit like 'omg i said i waz done. here's another iteration of my point~~`!1'.
You can't make a point, and then not expect a fucking rebuttal.
What is the difference? Starring in a movie makes it ok, but a Game Show makes it evil?
Do you think the way a television show host acts on TV is the way he acts in his every day life?
How can you blame the HOST for YOU jumping to conclusions?
And how are movies "not real"?
Are you not really kissing someone because its in a movie?
Would you not get aroused from your sex scene involving Halle Berry?
Do you think they use a Green Screen to place naked adults in the same room as children?
Gadd. It's like reading the daily fucking mail, listen to some of you, yeah the guy's a creep but if there's no actual proof that he FUCKS kids then you have to bare in mind this guys life could have been completely ruined by this shit. We live in the west where supposedly people are innocent until proven guilty and folk aren't tried by internet or media , not some tin pot african country where someone kisses a kid and get's their fucking balls cut off. There's a million presenters out there who acted like this back in the day, this is honestly a fucking piss take, grow up.
Mods, Please close this thread.
It's getting out of hand.
Dictionary fail. There is no way you can refer to the contestant as being random. The families would have applied in person, in a casting call, and been carefully selected by a group of individuals, which may or may not have included the host. The pre-selection process which is needed to qualify contestants to be part of the show, and them being part of the show at all, means that they are in fact not random.
You using the word random to mean not having any family relation to them, is completely out of line. The reason you used the word random, was to further portray him as a sexual deviant who has no control over himself and needs to release his frustrations on any young girl he sees.
The word pervert in this case has to mean one of two possible things. Either someone who deviates from what would be considered normal and acceptable behavior, or someone getting sexual gratification from actions which would be considered socially abnormal. We have absolutely no evidence of him getting sexual gratification from his actions, and based on the fact that for 4 years and hundreds of episodes families continued to sign up, and millions of people watched the show over that time, and the broadcasting council didn't shut him down, we have to assume him actions weren't that abnormal or unacceptable for his time and place where it took place.
In a movie, there is a script that the actor(s)/actresses read and agree to and sign legal documents and consent forms which both parties agree to what is done in the movie.
On a game show, thousands of people sign up, they choose random people and you show up and it is not scripted. Do you think the parents came to the game show to film and knew that the game show host was going to attempt to kiss their children? Would you accept that and let your child be on a show, knowing that, that was going to happen? No one in their right mind would.
I don't think the producers told him to try to kiss these little girls and with that said, I think that these actions could very well be how he acts in real life also.

You are just naive and uneducated when it comes to how Television shows are filmed then. There are most certainly legal documents signed, and in a case like this show involving families, they would have been pre-screened and selected weeks before the actual filming of their episode took place.
Most of what the host does and says is scripted, and a lot of the time, the contestants are given an idea of what the questions will be before hand, and they are coached on the type of answers they should give. I do think that many parents would be aware the host MAY kiss their child, and it isn't a concern for them, because they know it wont harm their child.
Once again, for you to say nobody in their right mind would accept that, means that you believe EVERY contestant (1000+ contestants) were all completely ignorant and never ever watched the show themselves.
Firstly, before trying to debate such a topic, you should probably research the topic you're debating on. The kissing happened on a number of episodes which tells me that the parents knew what was going on, and saw nothing wrong with it, as it wasn't meant to be sexual. 'Random attempt' is different then random girls. You made it sound like he was out kissing girls in the middle of the street, and forcing himself on them with some malicious intent. The airing of the show more than likely took place over one day of airing and how would the parents have suspected or known that he was going to randomly attempt to kiss their children during the airing of the show?
So wait, you're allowed to pass judgement on somebody you don't know (with rather malicious claims like he was a pedophile?), but I'm unable to pass judgement on you because I think you're being disillusion and your debating points are nothing but reiterations of each other...? Attaboy with the contradictions~You're right, I know nothing about this man. But nor do you and I'm going off what is in front of me and what I see. If you watch this video and don't see this guy as a pervert, then there's really nothing I can do or say to change your mind, because that's the way you're wired, just like KickFlip. Don't call us "twats" for having a valid opinion about the video we were presented with
No, I don't support child porn. That being said, my original post was regarding the reaction of a lot of people when the topic comes up. Everyone gets so heated and begins making remarks that they would hurt the individual for looking. I think the actual act of making the porn is what should be focused on, and prosecuted against. I don't think looking at it does anybody any physical or mental harm, and it's preventing the individual(s) in some cases to not act out on their attraction. You can't negate someones attraction to something just because your morals oppose to it. Pedophilia is no different then any of your other common attractions. It's a hardwired attraction, not something that you control. Just the same how people prefer short/tall, blonde/red-head, gay/straight.Wait, so are you saying that you condone Child Porn? I sure hope not, although it would make sense why you don't think this guy is a pervert and you don't think viewing child porn is wrong. Now let me get something straight, before you think I'm giving low blows or manipulating what you said. I absolutely think that the recording or taking pictures of children for pornography purposes is wrong, but if they can not find the people who are doing this, the next best thing is to go after the people who are viewing it, which they do. If it was so ridiculous for people to get in trouble for viewing child porn, why wouldn't more people fight for their right to be able to do it? Maybe because it's not accepted in society? Well, it's not accepted for a good reason, it's sick. Maybe I misinterpreted your words, but to me, it sure seems like you don't understand why it's wrong to view child porn.

There is a huge epidemic of pedophilia amongst the child star community exactly because of this thought process. ?Well, they?re famous, they wont do anything wrong?.
