Thanks OP I've saved this page and gonna put this method to work. I have some spare time at the moment and I might as well put it to good use and earn some monies.

Moved on to other things, I did this like 5 years ago. Like the other pros above me said, its rehashed and super old but spoon fed here with some golden nuggets to save you time. Don't let the fact that it's not the newest thing deter you, often times that's what everyone is doing. The method is as solid as they come, people like to flame good ideas, so they can do them instead while persuading the followers to not even try. This is a method for leaders.

Why you said that is not a method for all? Where is the hard step? Install Wordpress/theme or what?
Because i dont find it hard as far as i know...

Thank you kayzne, really appreciate this. I must confess that I didn't knew the method. Also, even if old, remember that you can always sell "old stuff" under a new disguise/twist (how many Burger or Pizza Restaurants do you know? Is drinking coffee something really creative and new? and yet: Starbucks, at least here in Europe). Here's my twist:

You could create "cross border" directories. Let's say you approach all the Hotels in your area and sell them a spot on a "special" directory site targeted at Chinese/Brits/Germans whatever. You need to setup the theme/website in another language (Fiverr, or if someone wants to team up with me/someone else as a JV) and also get traffic from that country. Heck we could sell ad space to companies in the target country. Tourist venues are only one idea that comes to mind (Hotels, Spa's, Restaurants, Bars). This would extend this idea (American Hotels from New York on a German Directory, American Hotels from Chicago on a German Directory).

Now shoot me. Where are the holes in this plan? What do you think?
 
Solid and good method, how many will actually take action? Not many, haha.
