try this, for example if you want to kill all chrome processes: taskkill /IM chrome* /f
its kinda like "killall" on linux

What are macs? Operating system?
You buy lap top or computer... Or computer components and assemble it. Then you install windows on it and you crack it, and youre good to go.

I'd be too scared to break it.. if I could add ram now I'd throw another 24GB into it in a heartbeatI'll just put a bigger ram stick later on (not the first year though). I know it's not user serviceable, but... hmmm... I love to do hardware hacking.

Just don't do it yourself if you are not confident. Get a non apple certified technician (like Louis Rossman on Youtube... I "used to" love his channel before the channel got all political.). This will only work if your macbook also does not have the ram embedded like my would be mac mini.
Well, microsoft products are in our DNS list, so we can't really discuss that. However, there should be a way to do this with the official win 10 iso. Google it. If you don't mind seeing the "activation" message on your bottom right screen, it should be perfectly usable.

I've used macs for a while. The UI/UX is better than windows for sure.
But I'm mostly a Linux guy. And we have KDE. It take take the shape of anything.. windows, macos or even chromebook..

Sort of lol. Still, it has better heat dissipation because of the extra thickness (i think). So, the original post still applies.

As Linus said at the end of the video... macs are targeted to less tech savvy people who still want a good experience with their computer (could even be a kickass designer who thinks he is better than an asm developer coz he has a mac). I guess you could use macs that way.. hmm..

To me personally, macbook pro is perfect for work. Far superior to any other laptop I experienced.
Edit: So many people dislike Apple, and I can understand why, for the price you are getting far less then with other brands, but if you don't care about money, and if it fits your needs, go for it. Different people have different needs. Also I didnt own latest generation of macbooks, so I cant comment on heating issues, but almost all versions I tried until now were great. It all depends on what you want, no reason to hate entire brands.

Funny you should say that. I "upgraded" from a 2008 last of the white Macbooks to a Macbook Pro in 2015. The newer machine was slow and didn't have enough processor power or ram to do anything.
I sold the Macbook and went straight back to Windows. Only Apple product I own now is an old iPad which is doing okay - will probably go Samsung when it eventually dies.
Apple products used to be great quality and pretty decent. Now they appear to be 100% marketing hype and not for people who actually do work.
