...enabling 2 authentication on a WordPress website with basic functionalities, such as Google Authenticator, email verification and SMS verification, requires you an outdated plugin with very POOR development (hello MiniOrange) or install a plugin of 12MB (!!!!) to have some basic functionalities.

This is just a screenshot of the dumb developer that claims that his 12mb 2-auth plugin doesn't have any influence on the loading time of the customer's WP websites...

Damn.

P.s. it's not me who posted the question about this plugin. I just made a screenshot of this developer's reply.

They suck t.b.h.

We tried to implement their plugin and tried to make use of their basic plugin settings, but half of them worked (not able to set any colors, they are FORCING their modal popup everywhere on the WP websites, no replies through email).

I submitted a refund request but after 4 workings days, no reply so far.
 
I feel like the problem is not with wordpress itself, but with the eco system. Wordpress makes it stupidly easy to make themes and plugins (for those who know a bit of php, and can read english). As a result, lots of noobs get into the plugins/themes eco system.

Sometimes the size can also be because of some sheer stupidity - e.g. someone deciding to add a 10mb png and load it in the admin… :devil:

If I was in wp eco system, I would make my own themes and plugins, and reuse them throughout multiple projects. :p

2FA has been added to AIO wp security since your WP Security Tutorial. :)

So that helps quite a lot.
