This is when Fiverr sucks

If you have something people really want, but they can't use the payment method you accept, then the overwhelming majority of them will be too lazy to set up a new account. Just like they're too lazy to switch from PayPal to a different payment method.

too bad for both parties :)

do the buyers pay to fiverr and fiverr pays the sellers? how these things happen?

Fiverr or anywhere else there is these risks.....

Paypal is alright as long as you follow the terms.
Its the people that abuse Paypal that making it bad.
But then Paypal not protecting Sellers as much as Buyers can be a problem.

Paypal is what sucks in my opinion,i have had so much problems with them i want to pull my hair out.

Actually this is why Paypal sucks, fiverr is just protecting themselves.

I'd say just forget about it and continue with your gig. If you are in a particularly bad mood, you can order from him if he offers a gig and leave a bad review :D

hey if you have prof of your work contact with paypal authority and tell them this guy is scam after order complete he open dispute if they find out something like that on his account they will limited the paypal account

Now mind you, I don't blame Fiverr... but it sucks when this happens:

Hi *********,

We have been informed by PayPal that a dispute was opened for your order #**********: run you a comp*** ****** ******* for your website. As a result we are forced to cancel this order and ask that you discontinue your work.

Please note that in some cases disputes are nothing more than temporary holds that PayPal puts on funds to make sure that they were authorized by the buyer. The dispute does not indicate that the buyer initiated it.

If the dispute gets resolved, the buyer will be offered to reorder your gig.

This guy ordered 8 gigs, and after I completed all of them... paypal put a hold on all the payments. It's only $32.. but damn.. this is when Fiverr sucks. Appears he does SEO for people, I should contact all the website owners he put in the gig and tell them...... . .. ... .. Naw.. i'll go focus on making money :)

Greetings OP,

Well sometimes we have our ups and downs too.

I love paypal and hate it as well. Back in 2012, I sold some digital goods on ebay. Client paid but was a scammer so payment he sent me went into dispute months later then I didnt see that 600.00 bucks for almost 8 months. Paypal treated me like sh*t too. I even made up a sob story about needing the money back but nada.
