This is what YOUTUBE SHOULD Do

Frankly, I'm getting really tired of Youtube's dumb crap.

Now they've changed the interface yet again, and you can "thumb up" or "thumb down" videos just like digg.

Here's what they SHOULD do:

They should allow the spam bots to be able to function again, but this time:

Youtube SHOULD place a link under EVERY video that they feel is copyrighted that will say "Want the ringtone? Click Here" and when users click on those links they can go and buy the ringtones in which the Music Companies and Youtube and Itunes get a percentage of the money.

Also, on the right side of ALL coprighted videos would be the REAL video of the artist (VEVO channel), so that users can go there as well if they choose to.

They also can place a MANDATORY 1 video response of the Artist's channel that you've copyrighted their video from, so they can get even more exposure.

This way you would have A LOT of people spamming the channels and videos again RANKING high, but at the same time it's BENEFITING Youtube, Music Companies, and Itunes.

They should allow a clickable link in the description video like they do now. (I've heard they want to remove that functionality which is even more monopolizing by damn Google to make itself purely profit at the expense of everyone else)

The spammers will, just like any other Youtuber, be able to have a link in their description to ANY site that they want, AND they should be able to have an annotation that's CLICKABLE to any site as well, as long as it's NOT adult.

This is a WIN-WIN for everybody.

However, it most likely will never happen because these companies are greedy.

not a bad idea. with all the negative publicity spammers get. think of the money and traffic they have made for people. there not all bad

Send this idea on youtube.. Explain every angle of what they want to know.. Its not that bad at all.. Well yea about their losses. They could've earn good cash when they allow that.. But I think they're trying to be clean

I actually might very well message this to Youtube's Headquarters cause let's face it: They can Make A LOT of money while not coming off as greedy.

It's just not right when they monopolize every industry and prevent the small person from making some money.

I've got so many sexy vids that are borderline porn tagged with tons of youtube ads from music (because of whats playing in the background) to dating sites. Youtube knows sex sells I dont think they are trying to be THAT clean.

Its their life.. We got our own life.. Let's just continue earning and hoping that the big G realizes that they should look at themselves in the mirror saying "That user could be right! I could make more money in that method"

Frankly, I don't think Youtube gives a damn about sexy videos unless people flag them.

This makes you wonder, do they really care about their site's quality at all or just PURELY money. I'm going to go with purely money.

This is also what will ultimately be the downfall of Google's Adwords program eventually, since they are too greedy and charge too much per click.

I would say since G bought them purely money too. Especially since they been in the red for a while now. In the end though Youtube is just a brand. they didnt invent video sharing they are just the most popular when it comes to it. Might as well use the brand to make a buck.

YouTube just want to cover their ass so they don't get sued. Eventually though it'll be so difficult to get stuff up on youtube there'll be millions of vids with a screenshot saying "youtube won't allow this content, go to my aff-site to see the video" lol
