I have had many social media projects: Reddit, TikTok, Instagram. There is one common thing among them, and it is that if you get too popular, you will get punished. I just got kicked out of a big NSFW subreddit for "breaking rules" because my post got a massive amount of interaction and I got a lot of traffic. I had been there for a long time without any problems, posting regularly. I was away for a few days, then I posted, and bye bye. I checked carefully, and I followed all the rules. Fuck them!
I managed a skateboarding channel. In the beginning, one of the videos got semi-viral and PUFF, gone. It was the only video that got removed for "violating the rules." No further explanation.
I have IG accounts that start very well—some hot chicks' accounts. Everything is okay, getting views, and when you start to invest more time and effort, they just decide to restrict your account without any explanation. So, if you are planning to make money on social media, maybe you should try something else instead. Or at least, if you are getting a lot of visibility, remove the post immediately. It seems to be against the rules. I'm done. Fuck this shit!
