This is so lame

I have a 3.5 year old domain ranking #1 for two of my main keywords.

But I have a measly 423 backlinks.

I want to increase the backlinks to rank for other keywords.

But everybody is telling me not to link to my $ site - so I spend all my energies building my 6 unit 2.0 ring.

I'm ready to kick some butt and build some backlinks to my $ site too. (I have access to SENuke, Scrapebox and xrumer) but I feel like my hands are tied for fear of the Big G sandbox!

What would you BH gurus do here in this situation?

Don't take risks on your actual rankings, you might loose those in a blink of an eye. Build links only to your satellite sites, steadily, and see what happens next.
